Dr. Pacharasut Sujarittanonta (Pat) is a renowned expert in competition law, data science, and market design whose expertise spans antitrust, regulation, international trade, and auction design. He has provided advice to private enterprises and government institutions across several countries, advising on complex real-world challenges and regulations.
Dr. Pacharasut is dedicated to integrating economics, data science, and legal expertise to deliver innovative and practical solutions to real-world challenges. He has shaped major regulatory initiatives in Thailand, where he has advised key agencies—including TCCT, NBTC, BOT, and ERC—on competition, regulation, and market design. In addition, he has played a pivotal role in every high-stakes spectrum auction in Thailand and has successfully guided corporate merger filings with a cumulative value exceeding 10 billion US dollars.
His academic credentials are highlighted by multiple publications in top-tier international journals. He taught economics and data science at Chulalongkorn University and in the Ph.D. program at Sasin School of Management. Dr. Pacharasut has also received several national awards for excellence in education.
Dr. Pacharasut earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, after obtaining an M.A. in International Economics and Finance and graduating with First Class Honors in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
