Dr. Pacharasut (Pat) Sujarittanonta
SENIOR PARTNER
Pat is an economist and engineer who builds the quantitative case. He leads VA Partners' work where the answer turns on a model: merger simulation and market power, damages, asset valuation, and the design of auctions and markets. He has advised governments and bidders on spectrum and other auctions in more than ten countries, and has served on subcommittees of, and advised, the TCCT, the NBTC and the Energy Regulatory Commission, including drafting the ERC's merger and competition guidelines. He has taught economics and data science at Chulalongkorn University and in the Ph.D. programme at Sasin School of Management.

Dr. Peerapat (Yok) Chokesuwattanaskul
SENIOR PARTNER
Yok is a lawyer and economist who works where law, economics and technology meet the regulator. He leads VA Partners' work on competition conduct, public policy and regulation, and AI governance. He co-authored Thailand's AI Guidelines (TAIG 1.0), is a member of the UNESCO Network of Experts on AI and the Rule of Law, and has advised the OECD, ASEAN, the World Bank and UNESCO on competition and AI policy. He has served as adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Defence, and teaches law and economics at Chulalongkorn University. Before VA Partners, he was a data scientist at Agoda and practised as a lawyer.

At VA Partners he builds the financial and data models behind merger, valuation and damages matters. Before joining, he worked in investment management, seed-stage venture funding and trade data analytics.

Thunwar Phansatarn
SENIOR ECONOMIST
Thunwar is an economist specialising in industrial organisation and the regulation of network industries. At VA Partners he builds the economic models and econometric analysis behind competition, regulatory and trade matters, with particular depth in telecommunications, interconnection and access regulation. He lectures at the Faculty of Economics, Ramkhamhaeng University.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Praewa is a lawyer who works on competition, merger control and dispute matters. At VA Partners she advises public and private sector clients on competition law and regulation, and works on merger filings and damages. She has represented domestic and multinational corporations in arbitration and litigation.
