Pacharasut and Peerapat Lead Expert Sessions on Trade Competition Law and Strategic Trends at NBTC Workshop

On 30–31 March 2026, Dr. Pacharasut Sujarittanont, Managing Partner, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Peerapat Choksuwattanakul, Senior Partner, were invited as expert speakers at the NBTC’s workshop on “Trade Competition Law, Market Analysis, and Strategic Trends in the Telecommunications Sector,” organised by the Quantitative Policy Analysis Bureau of the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) at Sailom Hall 5011, NBTC Office, Bangkok.

The workshop, opened by Ms. Orada Thepphayayon, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of NBTC, brought together distinguished experts in competition law, competition economics, and strategic management to equip NBTC staff with advanced analytical skills for navigating the evolving competitive landscape of the telecommunications industry.

The sessions covered a wide range of critical topics, including platform law and policy, decoding real competition dynamics in the modern telecommunications market, strategic foresight methodologies, the concepts of ‘Black Swan’ and ‘Grey Rhino’ risks, and perspectives from securities analysts on telecommunications and energy sectors—covering market conditions, strategic industry trends, the data centre ecosystem, and policy implications for the future.

VA Partners is proud to contribute to Thailand’s regulatory capacity building in telecommunications, supporting the NBTC in developing robust frameworks for competition oversight in an increasingly complex digital economy.
