Dr. Pacharasut (Pat) Sujarittanonta
Senior Partner
Pat Sujarittanonta is an economist and engineer who builds the quantitative case. He leads VA Partners' work where the answer turns on a model: merger simulation and market power assessment, damages quantification, asset valuation, and the design of auctions and markets. He has advised governments and bidders on spectrum and other auctions in more than ten countries. He has served on subcommittees of, and advised, the TCCT, the NBTC and the ERC, including drafting the ERC's merger and competition guidelines. He trained in computer engineering before economics, and brings data science and algorithm analysis to competition matters and to the technical side of AI investigations, from algorithmic pricing to model audits. He has taught economics and data science at Chulalongkorn University and in the Ph.D. programme at Sasin School of Management, and has published in leading international economics journals.

Dr. Peerapat (Yok) Chokesuwattanaskul
Senior Partner
Yok works where law, economics and technology meet the regulator. He leads VA Partners' work on competition conduct and compliance, public policy and regulatory design, and AI governance and investigation. He was trained as both a lawyer and an economist. He co-authored Thailand's AI Guidelines (TAIG 1.0) and is a member of the UNESCO Network of Experts on AI and the Rule of Law. He has advised the OECD, ASEAN, the World Bank and UNESCO on competition and AI policy, and has served as adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Defence. He was previously a data scientist at Agoda, worked at a top law firm, and has taken part in international trade negotiations.

Dr. Peerapong Jongpaisalsakul

Peerapong is a full-time lecturer in Competition Law at the Faculty of Law, Ramkhamhaeng University. His research focuses on competition law and regulations, particularly mergers and acquisitions regulations. Peerapong holds a Barrister-at-Law from the Thai Bar Association. He received his J.S.D and LL.M. from Chulalongkorn University.

Thunwar Phansatarn
Principal Economist
Thunwar is a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Ramkhamhaeng University, with expertise on industrial organisation, telecommunications sector regulation, competition, international trade, interconnection and access regulation. He received M.Econ. And B.Econ. from Chulalongkorn University.

Praewa Jittimanee

Praewa is a licensed Thai attorney with a strong background in litigation, international arbitration, and competition and economic advisory. She graduated with First Class Honours in her Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University. Praewa has represented high-profile clients, including domestic and multinational corporations, in complex arbitration and litigation matters. She also advises public and private sector clients on competition law and regulatory matters, contributes to merger control and damages.

Palot Julsukont
Principal Associate
Palot specialises in economic analyses, financial modelling, and industrial organisation. He has worked on mergers and acquisitions, investment management, seed-stage venture funding, import and export business data analytics and business development. He received his B.Econ from Chulalongkorn University.

Rinreda Sakiyalak

Rinreda holds a Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University, where she was placed on the Dean’s Honour List and received first-class honours. Prior to joining VA Partners, she practised as a Legal Associate at a global law firm based in Bangkok, focusing on complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and regulatory advisory for multinational clients across a range of industries. Rinreda brings experience in legal due diligence, transaction documentation, and cross-border investment matters. She has also engaged in competition law research and contributed to academic and international moot court activities, earning numerous national and international awards in advocacy and legal writing.
